When I think of summer garments or summer knitting, Euroflax always comes to mind. Euroflax is a linen yarn made out of flax that is wet spun.
The yarn feels a bit stiff in the skein but will soften with machine washing and drying thus creating a soft, drapey fabric. I have found that hand winding the skeins will begin the softening process and making the yarn easier to knit.
Euroflax is wonderful for holding lace patterns and demonstrating great stitch definition in cable patterns.

May 13, 2020 at 4:19 amI’ve knitted lots of washcloths from Euroflax, when I give them as gifts my friends live them. Wrap them around a bar of goat soap for a wonderful surprise.
